Rithmic imitation
Hi,
I'm having big troubles with rithmic imitation as soon as there is more than one bar. I simply cannot remember the notes. Some misfunction in my brain maybe?
Or is there any advice to improve on this.....
Thanks,
Remco

Melodic dictation
I tried melodic dictation.
A chord progression is played, and then a tone. And I have to say which tone. But I dont even know the key. I need a perfect ear to do this?
What to do?

It works
Thanks for your answer.
I had entered the correct serial number. I restarted earmaster and suddenly I am registered now. So now it works.
Kind regards,
Remco

Nothing happend. Earmaster stays in evaluation mode, and it doesnt give an error message, also does n...

Minor second harmonic / Major second harmonic
Improving now. What helps me is: minor second harmonic sounds as if the sound is ''confused''. Major second harmonic doesnt sound too good either, but not that "confused''.
Hope it helps anyone...

Physics may help for hearing minor second harmonically?
Hi, I just thought. In a minor second harmonic, the two frequencies are very close, only about 6% from eachother. If you play for instance 300 Herz and a half tone higher, 318 Herz, your ear will probably hear the average, so 309 Herz, fading and getting stronger in a 9 Herz frequency (amplitude get...

Stuck at minor second / major second harmonic
I'm stuck, I cannot hear the difference in major and minor second harmonically. Sometimes I have only 5 of the 20 correct. This at least means I must hear some difference, but give the answers in the wrong way. Melodically I can identify them well. Can anyone give me a hint to start hearing them? Ca...

Rhythm reading
Hi, I just started to do rhythm reading exercices, with the space bar. Should I also let Earmaster judge the tone duration ? I am learning to play the piano, so I guess it's also important to keep the key pressed for the correct duration. Is it more difficult if also duration is judged by Earmaster?...
