I finally did get it to work. Playing the first note wasn't the problem; actually, it seems to require BOTH notes after all. But the problem does seem to be related to "'insert."' I reduced Program Settings-Auto Insert After to it's lowest setting, 600ms. Then if I hold the note long enoug...

PS-2

Even thouh the notes show up on the staff and the keyboard when I strike them, it seems they are not beign recognized by the answer analyzer. When I click "Play your answer"after entering, it only plays back C, not the notes I played on the MIDI instrument.
