For intervals it will play Do and the octave Do. then play like Sol Fa and I have to pick that it is M2. What is the octave at the beginning for.. in real time I wouldn't know that it is Sol fa... i would think of it as Do Re.... i wish I was that good to do that. But is that what its for... to call...

can you turn off midi only for mouse use?

I like entering the intervals with my mouse... i can see the root not.. then i click on the staff to place it. I like this instead of the buttons at the bottom. Its more of a challenge :) anyway.. i dont want a midi sound to play when i click on the piano or staff.. can i turn this off, but still he...

Understanding a cadence

I have now gotten to level 23 and am pretty good.. Almost 100% all the time.

I just do not understand the point of a tonal cadence. What is the purpose of this?

I mean like..

it displays on a staf notes.

then you sing them like... Do Fa la fa la sol re do

and either the computer listens to your voice... or you just check iit yourself.

i guess instead of dictation i meant sight singing.

Dictation can this program do this?

I have to say i have downloaded and tried many ear trainig progs.. this is by far the nicest. Where are all the options for dictation? I want to pick a key of c. start on c and only do Do re mi... then add fa sol la ti.. as i get better. then later I would like to practice dorian then maybe harmonic...

I have a annoying problem with the rhythm part of the program. I know its a 1-2-3-4 count so on a 1--2 and - 3 - 4 type rhythm (i did a basic rhythm just to see if i was the one at fault) even though i hit the beat almost perfectly its always late. so i did a test.
