It also works fine on Crossover Office (the commercial version of Wine). I'm running Suse linux.

Minimally to try it, I just did:

(as root): modprobe snd_seq_oss
(as me): timidity -iA -B2,8 -Os -EFreverb=0&

and then start EarMaster with the icon CXOffice puts on my KDE desktop ...
