The synthfont and loopbe1 combo dont "fix" the issue - it provides a very good alternative to the Microsoft synth. Earmaster can take input from the korg and outputs to loopbe1; synthfont take input from loopbe1 and plays to speakers.

ok - LoopBe1 + synthfont does the job and I can now use the keyboard for input to earmaster.

Korg driver still breaks MS midi devices but now it doesnt matter.

Part of my last post missing. I fixed my problem with reinstall of sound card driver and/or install of synthfont. Sound card driver I think. Also - both default driver for the keyboard and the Korg driver cause the same issue. (I was able to do some more testing once I got system restore turned back...

seems reinstall of sound card driver fixed it

either that or install of synthfont!

Windows 7 64 bit all was working fine with microsoft midi mapper and GS wave table. I purchased a Korg nanokey midi keyboard to use with earmaster. Default windows driver installed for the keyboard worked I could input into earmaster and hear sound. (Actually I only tested the rhythm) Then I install...
