Hello,
I've managed to genrate a new chord in the profile. Unortunately I've no idea how to name the chord. Currently it just shows empty fields. If I select a name from the edit menu my chord is replaced by the preset chord.
If I want to edit my custom chord (which has no name), earmaster selects anchord from the dropdown list. Currently it is allways '7,#9'.
Can I use a custom name?
Here I have some pictures:

Hi,
Yes, there should be a "name" text field when you edit the chord. It should be located at the top of the chord edit window.

In the edit menu is just a dropdown list to choose a name. There is no text field:

In your screenshot, you are in the "Chord Inversions" exercise area. You must go to "Chord Identification" to edit chords and name them. In the Chord Inversion activity, you will only be able to edit inversions based on the root positions that you have defined in the list of chords.
