in the beginner manual, 3.6 module, I can't input anything using laptop keys ctrl+0 ctrl+4 etc have no effect- using windows 7-all previous modules worked fine other than latency issues
also- is there no way to skip certain modules?

Hi,
They work here on my PC, so we need to find why they're not working on your computer. Are you sure you're using the NUMPAD digits and not those from the upper row of your comuter keyboard?
For the latency issues, have you tried to change the latency compensation setting in the preferences of EarMaster, under "Other Options-->Latency Compensation"?
