I have an iPad with the latest iOS.
EarMaster stopped working. It puts up a modal dialog telling me I have to give it access to the microphone even when I'm trying to do exercises that don't require a microphone. If you dismiss the dialog, it pops right back up again, blocking the use of the program. I've restarted the iPad multiple times which has no effect.

Re: iPad version broken?
Hi,
I just replied another forum member in another. I'm posting th same answer to you here:
You're not doing anything wrong, it's a bug in the latest update and we are fixing it. The solution is to open an exercise that requires Mic input (a sight-singing exercise for example) and allow Mic recording. Then you won't be annoyed by that message again.
The Mic setting in iOS preferences first appear when you have allowed (or blocked) mic recording in the app.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

OK. No problem. Thanks for the workaround!
