Are there any updates for Earmaster 4.0 and, if so, how do I download them? I am having trouble with the synchronization of my sound and clicking in rhythm reading, even after trying to adjust for a delay in the sound card.

Upgrading from 4 to 5
Well Kirsten, no hard feelings, but I wander why you still use the old version? The only possible reason I can find is not being able to afford it. Nevertheless, I advise you to move to version 5, it’s much more advanced, better looking, has more options, and all the updates are dedicated primary to the 5th version, so you’ll be loosing more by not moving to the new version. Problems in the 4th version are being sorted out in the new one, and EarMaster puts all its attention into improving version 5, which is understandable, because it’s their main income source at the time. I believe it’s also possible to upgrade from 4 to 5, and it shouldn’t cost too much, right?
