Dear EarMaster friends, I’d like to inform you that EarMaster is now completely available in Serbian. You’ll find all program text, both Standard and Jazz Tutor, as well as help file completely translated to Serbian.
To switch to Serbian (or any other language), simply go to Program settings, found in the Tools menu, and under the tab Environment choose your language, restart EarMaster so the new language loads, and use EarMaster in your own language! Simple as that!
To be able to use all diacritic characters of Serbian Latin script (e.g. to ensure that all letters are shown properly), and this counts for all other languages using any characters different from standard English script (such as French, Polish, Czech, etc...), you need to adjust the following options: go to Control Panel, find Regional and Language Options, and under tabs Regional Options and Advanced set your language (for example Serbian (Latin)). The described options are in Windows XP operating system. You may need to restart your computer.
This is needed in case that setting your language and corresponding script for it doesn’t give expected result (using the options in Tools/Program Settings/Environment/Language and Script).

Just a note: if all the mentioned options were already set, there will be no need to do that yourself, EarMaster will automatically switch to Serbian (or your own language), even during installation process. But in order for EarMaster to do that automatically, the default language and script on your computer has to be already set to your own language.
The Earmaster team doesn't speak all the languages that customers want. Some people, like Bojan who translate in Serbian and me in French do it. We want to help people to understand easier and become better.
Maybe the Earmaster team pay us big money.....
Once the text is translate, the Earmaster team, transfert it in the software and we can have a new update. The software is available in many langugages now.

Good thing Waigin, to point this out. If there are any brave new translators out there, that would like to translate EarMaster from any currently available language to your own language, that isn’t listed in available languages, please contact EarMaster Aps for more details. There are off course some terms you have to comply with: you need to be a music teacher or student (e.g. you need to have an excellent knowledge of terms of music theory), you have to master both languages you’ll be translating from and to, and you have to be able to write without spelling or grammatical errors. When you finish your translation, you send it back to Hans, the author of the program, who than puts your translation into the new update, launched only when some bugs are fixed, or the program itself improved, and everybody will be able to use EarMaster in a new language.

I am pleased to inform you that Windows Vista has been translated into Serbian language (localized). So now you can enjoy working with your favorite ear trainer on Serbian, on most modern OS (Vista) also in Serbian. Any musicians running EarMaster on Vista, please tell us of your experience... EarMaster should be optimized to run on Vista...
