No Percussion Sound MacOS Big Sur

Hi There,

I just purchased Ear Master Pro in the hope of using my AKM320 as a percussion device in the rhythm ear training section. Unfortunately, I can not hear any percussion audio using either my MIDI device or my keyboard. I can hear the question, but I have absolutely no sound with my answer.

Please help.

Hi,

There are 2 things to set up:

1. Preferences --> MIDI Devices:
- MIDI Out: FluidR3 GM EarMaster for both pitch and percussion
- MIDI In: AKM320 (it should be in the list if it's connected and recognized by Windows, macOS or iOS)

2. Enable MIDI IN in EXERCISE OPTIONS (the right side panel when you are doing the exercise)

Notice that if you don't want to allocate keys to control the software (new questions, replay question, etc.) you can disable PREFERENCES --> REMOTE CONTROL
