As it is now, I have to keep moving my right hand back and forth between the arrow keys and the numeric keys above the alphabetic keys for every single note I input. Why not enable the numpad as valid numbers as well?
Maybe I remember wrong, but I think previous versions of EarMaster had keyboard shortcuts closer to Sibelius? I can't remember it being this slow inputing notes before.
That makes it impossible to effectively do the exercises and actually focusing on ear training when it's the input system that slows you down, not the ear.

We did change the Numpad shortcuts for the top row numeric keys after v6 because the vast majority of current laptop computers don't have numpads. I am not sure if it would be possible to provide 2 sets of shortcuts for the same actions, but maybe you could suggest it to our development team: feedback@earmaster.com
