Weighting options

I have made several workbooks, each containing lessons that gradually increase in difficulty. I often go back and edit these based on how they are received by my students. Sometimes I learn that I might have a rather large jump between two consecutive lessons. When that is the case, I try to insert a new lesson in between.

This brings me to my idea. Several of the lesson set ups involve choosing note values that would appear in the lessons.

What if we had the capability to weight the selected note values?

Do you mean that you would like note values to affect your score differently based on what coefficient or multiplying factor it has been assigned? Meaning that, for example, succeeding at 16th notes count more than succeeding at 4er notes?

Here is an example.
On lesson 1, I have eighth, quarter and half notes. On lesson 2 I drop the half notes (so there are only quarter and eighth notes).

Lesson 1 might generate more half notes than I'd like and not enough eighth notes making the questions relatively easy. When this is the case, there is a big jump in difficulty when going to lesson 2 because of the lack of half notes.

I have found some work arounds, but still think it would be useful to have control over the occurrences of selected note values.
