As you can see, the metronome is in the first beat, but my input was registered at the end of the first bar (I hit the key on the first beat, my timing is not so bad...)
This seems to happen when there is a silence in the first bar. I tried several times, and it always happens.
By the way, in the settings for this exercise, if you choose a time signtaure that has less than 4 beats, you are not allowed to select the whole note (this makes sense), but if you choose multiple time signatures, some withe less than 4 beats, and one that has 4 beats, you still can't.
I think you should be able to select it, and EarMaster should "know" that
it can only be used when the time signature for the question has 4 beats.
A bug in the rhythm exercise
Moderator: Quentin
You are absolutely right, it is a bug. It happens when the tempo is not set to 90. Thank you for letting us know and for including a screen dump. That makes it a lot easier to track the bug
We will upload an updated version of EarMaster, with this bug fixed, within the next couple of days. Use the "Check for update" function in EarMaster to find out when it is ready.
Best regards,
Hans Jakobsen
