Interval Identification error when unison occurs

Any time a unison answer is required, three notes appear on the keyboard and staff and the program indicates an error, even though I did not enter an answer. I unistalled the program and re-installed it, but the problem persists. Please help.

Does it happen in all the lessons that use unison, bluethumb? Since I never experienced a similar problem, I recommend you to check whether you're using the latest version (e.g. build).

Thank you for your reply. I have tried only the interval identification exercise. The problem alway occurs when I use the tutor and when I use customised exercises, and only when a unison answer is required. For example, if a C is played as the question and a C appears on the keyboard and it sounds the note, I can click play answer and all is OK. But as soon as I click show answer, 2 more Cs (the exact same note) show on the keyboard and the staff, and EarMaster tells me my answer is incorrect. I am using Windows XP with the latest update and EarMaster 5 build606p.

I see, you probably get something like on the picture below. And you didn't enter your answer, did you? You just played the question, and didn't enter anything through the keyboard or staff? If that's the case, please enter a unison interval before pressing "show answer" button

. Because I tried to achieve the same situation you describe and couldn't do it, unless I (purposely) forgot to enter the unison. As stupid as it might seem, you are suppose to enter the same note in order to give the correct answer. If, however, you did enter the required interval, this is a serious bug, and we'll report to program makers. Tell us did this help?
(Just a little note: "C dur" is C major, and "prima" means unison on Serbian)

Your are an excellent troubleshooter! That is exactly what I did, but I didn't realize I was doing it. I re-ran the exercises just to make sure. Thank you very much. Another "operator error" exposed.

Bojan - I forgot to thank you for the lesson in Serbian "dur" means major and "prima", unison. Thank you again.
