Hi,

I think that all the examples of intervals in melodies I been reading her are great, specially the ones related to minor 6Th who is a difficult interval. But guys, try not to forget something very important about this examples, they should be exactly that, ONLY examples. It´s very important to learn intervals independently of a song or melody... in other words this examples are great to start with, specially because it´s difficult in the beginning to get the concept of what intervals are useful for. But they should never became the only way to recognize intervals, in other way the will became a handicap in the future.

grettings,

We have just made a new page that includes all your suggestions and a lot more:

Our new "Interval Examples Chart Generator" is not only a huge collection of melodies categorized by their starting interval. There is also a link to a YouTube video with the song, and it starts at the exact time where the interval appears.

Last but not least, is it a tool to generate your own interval examples chart with exactly the songs you know best.

Find it here:

Thank you for your feedback!

Best regards,
