Set up files are corrupted

Post by fpinto »

I didnt use EarMaster5 during some months. Today I went to the site of the program and tried to see if there are some updates. I oppened the program, went to the Help and could see that there was an update. I downloaded it and tried to install, but couldn't because I got always the same message "set up files are corrupted, get a new program!". So I have reinstalled the program with the original CD I have with me. But the same message continued to appear, and I couldn't get the update. Can the support team give me the solution? Thanks. Francisco Pinto (Portugal).

File update corrupted

Post by fpinto »

Hello,

After I posted my question on 29th january, I continued trying to solve the problem. I can´t remember what I did, but I've got it! I think that I installed the update running it directtly from the EarMaster site. Before, when I saved it first, and run it after, I couldn´t, because the message "corrupted" appeared. I had that problem on Windows XP and Windows Vista. I had the earmaster installed on the 2 systems in the same computer. Now I am working all the time on Vista. I have migrated all my music software (Finale, cakewalk 8, Transcribe, Band in a Box 2009 and others) to Vista. The EarMaster is updated and works well. It´s all I can inform now. Cheers for all! Francisco Pinto (Portugal).
