EarMaster Pro install on OS X Snow Leopard?

I just downloaded the trial version of EarMaster Pro 5 for OS X. Unfortunately the .dmg disk image (7895345 bytes, crc32 checksum of 0489b5ca) refuses to load on my Mac Book Pro running 10.6 (Snow Leopard). There's no error message, double-clicking on the .dmg just returns immediately with nothing showing in the Finder Devices. Is this a known issue?

An update that rebooting my system fixed the problem. I suspect this was my specific machine rather than anything to do with EarMaster5
