I did stumble into a combination of settings in which I have a piano sound and it is checking lengths. This came about when I set up my MIDI keyboard as the input. However, every time I change the exercise settings, usually to add more combinations to be tested with, the mode switches back, and sometimes it takes me two or three tries to get it back to checking note lengths.
I would like to set this once and leave it for the duration of at least until I switch exercises, and it would be helpful if there were some visual indicator such as a check mark like there are with some of the other options on this menu. It seems as though I have to set it while there is question playing--except when I assume that's the rule, so I am still unable to figure this out.
Oh, sorry, I didn't understand. But that is actually a bug, and it has been fixed. It is part of the next update which will be available in a couple of weeks. Use the Check for Updates function from the HELP menu once in a while to see if the update is available.
