EarMaster 5 installation problem

I recently purchased a copy of Earmaster 5 from Amazon.com it came with a CD and manual with a serial number on it...The problem is I put the CD in my laptop and it doesn't work nothing comes up at... I tried to download the program and use the serial number that came with my copy but it says that it's not a EarMaster serial...I need help!!!:(

What OS do you have? Windows or Mac OSX, and which version?
