Melodic dictation in minor keys

How do I customize the melodic dictation section so that I can drill myself on specific scale tones in the minor keys? I've learned to do it in the major keys, but when i try to enter a custom minor scale, it still plays a major cadence for a reference point. Thx.

The only way to get a minor cadence is to set the Scale to "Natural minor". However, then you cannot control exactly what scale tones will be played in the question - but if you set "Keys and Root movement" to Advanced and click edit, you can set the tone range to limit what tones EarMaster should choose from.

We will consider it that you can make a custom scale in either minor or major.
