I can't seem to get the Earmaster Essential app to recognize my guitar so that I can 'play in' the answers, either using the Mac Mic or directly connecting my guitar to the microphone input. I'm using a MacBook Pro. Any suggestions?
By the way, then little microphone bar in the lower right corner indicates the app is 'hearing' the input tones. The problem is that the tones don't register as an answer in the exercise.

Hello,
You should probably return to the Microphone Tuning Wizard (from the TOOLS menu) and not leave it before you have found a setting that successfully displays the tones you are playing. If the tones you play are not displayed correctly in the microphone tuning wizard, they won't be displayed correctly in EarMaster either.
