Play interval again when wrong.

Hello,

When doing interval recognition, when I am wrong, I would like the program to repeat the interval and I could name the interval again, and keep repeating it until I get it right and then I want it to play me a new interval. How can I set it up to do that?

Is it possible to enter intervals using keyboard shortcuts, without having to press anything else? I would like to not watch the computer screen and aim with the mouse, just sit back and press 2, 3, 4, 5 or whatever interval it is, when I am wrong it would repeat it and I would press again until I get it right. Is this possible with this program?

Hello,
The "Play Question" and "Play your answers" buttons are there to enable you to audition your answer before validating it, making it possible to correct it if necessary.

Shortcuts are available to insert intervals: 1=Unison, 2=Second, etc... You can check the shortcuts map from the Help menu to find all the shortcuts available in EarMaster.

But can I set it do automatically repeat the question when I am wrong?

And can I make it automatically play a new question once I get it correct after getting it wrong?

Yes, you can get EarMaster to ask a new question automatically as soon as you entered the correct answer. This is done from the Exercise Settings menu, under "Auto New Question".

If you enter a wrong answer and validate it, EarMaster will show you the correct answer and let you compare it with your answer. But you can always hear the answer you have entered and compare it with the question before having it evaluated by EarMaster.
