Hello
I was watching a very interesting video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWxUcT7ekCo&feature=plcp) and I was wondering if it is possible to do something similar with EarMaster.
Basically, the program would play the "key chord" to establish the key, then a random note in this key and you have to find it's position (tonic, supertonic...) or its name (do, re...) ?
I am pretty sure it's possible to do that with a customized exercise but I haven't found how to :red:

Key chord + note ?

Hi,
Yes, it is possible with a customized melodic dictation when using the following settings:
* Number of tones: 1
* Options: Play tonic --> Play root chord
Once inside the exercise, go to the exercise settings menu and choose Tone Naming --> Solfege Relative (Movable-Do).

Hi Jean-Luc,
When you choose Tone Naming --> Solfege Relative, the Do will change place on both the staff, the piano and the guitar interfaces depending of what key the question is in. Perhaps you were hoping to find multiple-choice buttons with solfege syllables? If yes, then it is something we will try to include in a future version.
