Earmaster Pro, note reading for beginners?

Post by jontah »

Hi!

I'm new to earmaster pro on Mac.

I'm wondering if there's ANY exercise that will help me remember the names of the tones/notes on the bassclef and the G clef? like a quiz..

I can't find that anywhere in the earmaster pro program.

What would you suggest I should do if I want to start reading music notes? I really want to become good at this.

Any answer is much appreciated!

Thanks alot!

Hi,

The melodic sight-singing exercise can be used by entering tones on the piano interface instead of singing the tones. That way, you will be able to test yourself in reading notes in the F-clef (or the G or C clefs).

Is it something like this you're looking for?

Choose 'Note Identification' and you can customize it for which clefs you want to drill, etc.
