Need some clues with EM6 - Mac user

Post by KostaC »

Hello,

I need feedback for this few things:

1. On the melodic dictation section when i enter the answers with my midi keyboard it doesn't enter the notes automaticly. It stands on one place and just replaces every new note with the previous inserted. For example: I do 3 notes exercise where the first note is shown. Now, i enter the second tone on my midi keyboard and when i enter the third tone it replaces with the second one. I figured out that i must click on the right side so that the black shadow moves to the right and now i can enter the tird one. But why complicating? On EM5 it was very easy to enter the notes with midi keyboard.

Also on EM5 i was able to delete the last note with the delete key, now i can't.

On EM5 i was able to hear the cadence when i clicked on the clef now i can't.

Thanks.

The replacing of the tones is happening only if i insert them with midi keyboard. If i enter them with the EM keyboard the shadow moves automatically.

it turned out that the notes cannot be erased with the delete button only when they are inserted with a midi keyboard, otherwise they can :)

Hi Kokomoko,
I notified the devs of the issues you encounter with MIDI Input, and we'll get back to you asap.
Cheers,

Entering notes with a MIDI instrument has been improved and the note cursor should advance to the next note as in EarMaster 5. The Delete button should also work as before. These fixes will be included in the next update of EarMaster 6.

Auditioning the cadence by clicking the clef will appear in a later update.
