Guitar not recognized as input device

Post by Morville »

Hi,

Today I set up my microphone for EarMaster use, no hassle at all. For the melodic dictation and imitation, however, I'm interested in also using my electric guitar.

As the XLR and Jack inputs are different ones on my soundcard, there is the option to select the XLR (microphone) input in the Microphone Setup Wizard, but not the Jack input.

I'm using a M-Audio Fast Track USB.

Furthermore, there is no problem getting sound from my DAW (FL Studio).

Hope that you can help..!

Hi,
EarMaster will only listen to the first channel/input. Support for selecting other inputs instead is on the to-do list of the developers and will be added as soon as possible.
