In melody imitation when I try to "Play my answer" I get back a distorted sound ...
is there anybody that may help me?
the audio input device is a microphone "M-Audio" FAst Track

Hi,
Are you on Windows or Mac? Also, which build of EarMaster 6 do you have? (You can find the build number in the menus Help > About EarMaster or EarMaster Pro > About EarMaster Pro) The most recent updates contain improvements to the melody exercises, so it might be useful to check for updates from the Help menu or the EarMaster Pro menu.

my pc is Mac with Lion installed and the version of Ear Master is attached
I've already downloaded all the updates proposed ... but no way It doesn't work correctly
should be better re install Ear master?

Yes, it's a good idea to try reinstalling the latest version as follows:

- Search for "earmaster" on your Mac by clicking the magnifying glass at the top right corner of your screen.
- Drag all EarMaster icons you find to the Trash.
- You can now download the latest version from our website and install it. The latest build at this time is 631.
