Version 5 compatable with version6?

Half of my class has been using version 5 since Sept. 2012. I now have 8 new students who have come into class and the only version they can purchase is version 6. I have ver. 5 School and so far I can't read the new students files. I can't have half my students upgrade their program to version 6 with only 8 weeks left in the term, but I need to be able to correct everyone's work. several students were able to download the demo of v. 5 and then send an email with the purchased licsense for v. 6, and EarMaster gave them a code to open v. 5. Now the demo for 5 if not on the web page any more. How am I going to get everyone's work imported or how can I grade their work with 2 different versions? Thanks for your help
