No sound on rhythmic input

Hi

I'm not getting any sound in the rhythm reading exercise. The input is registered correctly and I can see the marks below the rhythmic figures, also I see the hands clapping when i press the space bar, but I can't hear anything but the metronome.

When i press the button to hear the correct answer or even my own answer, the claps are played, it is only while i'm playing the answer that nothing is heard. Also sound is working ok in all other exercises.

I have tried to change the settings to use wav files, but the results are the same, also when i press the play button in the settings menu I hear the sound in both wav and midi options.

I can still do the exercise just by tapping the rhythm, but is very annoying not hearing anything.

I have a mac upgraded to Yosemite, and update search says i'm running the last version of EarMaster

Can you try the following settings in the preferences, which are basically putting everything back to the default values:

* MIDI Devices tab:
- Pitch device set to FLUIDR3 GM EarMaster
- Percussion device set to Same as Pitch device

* MIDI Instruments tab, lower part:
- Channel set to 10 for both Metronome and Rhythm
- Preset set to 0 - Standard for both
- Note parameters from top t bottom for both: Lo Wood Block, Hi Wood Block, Hand Clap
- User clap sound set to Use rhythms sounds

Is that fixing the problem?

It is working right now. I don't know what was the problem as I haven't changed any settings, but now I do get a sound when I play the rhythm.
