In the Rhythmic dictation exercise the note cursor should represent the note value or rest (like in EarMaster 5).

Now I have to concentrate to the rhythm and also to the selected note value or rest in the note symbol bar. When I recognize that I have inserted a false note value, I had to delete that value and then select the correct note value. Doing this I often forget the question, because this is disturbing my concentration.

You are right about this. It would make a lot of sense to implement that in EM6 as well. It has been added to our suggestions list of features we might add in a coming update.
