I reported this a while ago, but it went unanswered, perhaps because I decribed the conditions rather vaguely. So here are the steps to reproduce (EM 6.1 build 645PW):
1. Probably any excercise with keyboard and microphone enabled will exhibit this,I used the interval recognition excercise.
2. Place mouse cursor over any key on the piano keyboard (e.g. A5)
3. Sing any other pitch (e.g. C3), piano key corresponding to the pitch being sung lights up
4. Stop singing and without moving the mouse, click on the key it was over at the beginning (here, A5). You will hear the pitch you sang (here, C3), not the one you are clicking (A5). Keep clicking it, it will still be the same. It will correct itself after mouse is moved to a different key and then moved back.
Looks like the code for the mouse click callback uses the location of the key last highlighted, not the one from under the mouse pointer.
The fact that the key highlighting is tied to mouse control also makes it impossible to click on and play other sounds while holding a note with my voice.
