Solfege spelling mistakes

Post by Guest »

Hi

I'm using EarMaster with solfege absolute for the name of the notes, and as you can see from this image:

Image

the name of the notes is not displayed correctly on the keyboard, but is ok on the staff. It should be Fa double sharp (F double sharp), not Sol (G).

These are the mistakes I have found:

- Double sharps and double flats are never used, no matter what interval is. If the spelling has a double flat or double sharp, the spelling is always wrong on the keyboard, but the notes are right on the staff.

- The same problem happens when the spelling has a Mi#, Fab, Dob, or Si# (E#,Fb,Cb and B#) .

Also you can see that on the staff, the name of the key is not using solfege, it stills uses the angolosaxon note names.

This is only related to the Spanish translation. We will look into this and solve it. Probably within the next few weeks. You can use the EarMaster "Check for update" function to find out when it has been solved.
