Font Problem
I just got a new iMac desktop. When I boot up EarMaster, the music fonts that should appear on the staves in the exercises are corrupted. Please help.
Re: Font Problem
Hi,
The question marks might indicate that your OSX user isn't allowed to read the font file used to display notation. The first thing to try is to reboot your Mac to make sure all system settings are started properly. After that, start EarMaster to see if the notes are displayed correctly. If not, you can try the other solutions below.
Solution 1:
1. Start EarMaster, go to Tools-->Preferences
2. Select the notation styole that is not currently used (Classical or Jazz)
Solution 2:
1. Close EarMaster, open the Finder and search for the file "Setting.da6"
2. put the file into the bin and restart the Mac
3. Start EarMaster (Notice that this will reset your settings, such as voice range, choice of on-screen instruments, etc.)
