Interval singing is not useful currently, but it would be wonderful with a few simple changes:
- Don't show the note you're singing on the staff - otherwise you don't have to listen, you can just watch the note on the staff change until it's visually correct, there's no ear training involved.
- Don't allow singing to create multiple notes on the staff - it's an interval, why do you allow that?? Each sung note should overwrite the last answer until you click 'evaluate'
- 'Lock' the sung note faster. Sometimes I can sing a note for a few seconds, it shows on the staff, it's correct, then I stop singing and click 'evaluate' but the note is no longer on the staff!

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Points 1 and 2 are very relevant indeed. We will work on that.
Your last point is already possible (and should perhaps be the default option). Go to EarMaster's preferences and set the "Auto insert" value to 600 or 800ms. That will make EM faster to lock on the notes you sing.
