No sound while hitting the space bar

after istallation, while using rhythm reading the first time i hear a clap sound when i hit the space bar. after starting the second time there is no clap sound when hitting the space bar, but the exercise is still working?
where could be my problem

If you have activated the compensation for delays in the sound card (in the EarMaster Program settings), then it disables the clap sound from the spacebar. This only happens in EarMaster 4, in EarMaster 5 the clap sound remains.

Stratopack, did you try to use your mouse to enter the rhythm. I have noticed that when using <Ctrl> or <Space> buttons to enter sixteenth notes in a fast tempo, the clap time is not really accurate enough, so I tried with the mouse buttons, and what do you know, it worked perfectly accurate, even with small notes played fast. Note: I’m using EarMaster School 5 with an USB mouse.
So, use your mouse instead of those stupid buttons.

For me, the mouse take too much time and put some delay when I hit the buttom. It's faster with the keyboard than the mouse. The best is to use an instrument to do it
