Cannot input notes in Rhythm Dictation exercise

I bought the EarMaster because I found it as very useful. But I have one problem. I am not able to input notes in exsercise Rhythm Dictation. Pls help me.

Hallo Natalija, did you notice the menu "Notes", you have got to have it? That is one way to enter notes; another is using a toolbar called "notes". You gotta have at least the menu "Notes". And all you have to do is choose the appropriate note and enter it in the staff. EarMaster was giving me too headaches in the beginning, but after more that 2 years, and think I know it pretty well.
