Re: Ear Master for IPAD
Maybe Santa bring us EarMaster for iPad this year?..
Re: Ear Master for IPAD
I'm a music teacher and I have been using earmaster for years. I have tons of students who are waiting for an iOS version. Every student (and I mean literally every student) has an iOS device in their pocket. Not every student has an PC or Mac. Times are a changing!
We're talking 900 new students every year. They all attend ear training classes.
No need to explain the impact that an Earmaster for iOS would have...
It's time to set priorities and start develop an iOS version!

Re: Ear Master for IPAD
The IOS version is under development, and has been for a while now. We are moving forward, but it is still too soon to set a release date. It will be released as soon as it is ready

Re: Ear Master for IPAD
Have you got some developpement news/progression for EM for iPad (50%, 75%, 30%, ...) ?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Ear Master for IPAD
We are doing steady progress, and haven't yet run in any major problem. With software/app development, you can always try to set deadlines, but some aspects, sometimes even details, may take much more time than expected. So even if we feel we have come very far, we wouldn't dare to give any time estimate yet. The only thing we can assure you of is that it WILL be available, and it will be the absolute best app for ear training and sight-singing in the app store!

Re: Ear Master for IPAD
Will it have the same functionality as the desktop application?
It would be great if it added one piece of functionality - tolerance adjustment for pitch recognition. I have the desktop EM6, but I do not use it because it does not have this adjustment.

Re: Ear Master for IPAD
Thanks a lot for your reply Quentin.
Do you know already, if there is a special pricing for users who have buy the Desktop application ?
For example I've buy the 'EarMaster 6.1 Teacher', when the iPad version will be out, I would have a discount ?
Thanks

Re: Ear Master for IPAD
The way the App Store works doesn't make it possible unfortunately, so the licensing of the iPad version will be separate from the the desktop version, like for most (problably all) apps that are both on desktop and iOS.

We're glad you made it
I always prefer a midikeyboard when working with desktop version.
But now it has this all in one feeling and that makes it easier for me to focus on the exercises.
Yes, it's nicely and ergonomic designed.
