Hi,
I am trying to import a results file sent to me via email from a student. I saved it to the desktop, and the import box seems to recognize that there is data from that student available in the file on the desktop. But when I click "import" a new pop-up box says there is no information in the file. What am I doing wrong? I have tried to import the file both zipped and unzipped.
Thanks!

Hi,
(1&2) Both computers involved are Windows.
(3) The zip file should contain the results of 3 standard tutor lessons completed by the student.
The computer from which the file was sent is a university lab computer. The hard drives of these computers are cleared after the library closes every night. Perhaps the set-up here is not allowing the file to be saved/sent correctly??
Thanks for your help!

It could be that the computers are not configured correctly. If the student goes to the statistics/result window, he will se the results that have been stored. It is these results that will be exported with the export function.
In the ZIP file there should be a file called "exresult.em5". If the size of this file is 0 then no results have been exported.

If EarMaster gives a message that nothing is in the file, then it doesn't import anything, and therefore it has nothing to do with your computer configuration.
The problems might be at the computer that exported the data. Please email the zip file to support@earmaster.com then we can find out what is wrong.
