It says V-1 and V-1 minor i'm assuming the V is the fifth note of the scale right, and the minor means minor. What does the I mean though?

Hey jrockfeller
V means the triad on the fifth note of the scale: the dominant
I means the triad on the first note of the scale: the tonic
--> V-I means dominant, tonic progression (e.g. G / C)
--> V-Im means dominant, tonic MINOR progression (e.g. G / Cm)
