Haven't heard back from EarMaster(?)

Post by MDBurk »

I haven't heard from you since I responded (on 9/20/10) to your latest question re. the problem I am having with the contrast between the question being asked (by EarMaster) against its background. That 9/20/10 response was that the no. of colors being displayed is Highest (32 bit) and that the resolution is 1024 X 768 pixels.

Thanks

Hello,
Since the last e-mail we received from you , which was older than that and was answered, we have been testing EarMaster on as many setups as possible, but the display has always been as it should be (similar to the screenshots on the EarMaster website). We have however not received the e-mail you are referring to (or at least I can't find a trace of it), so we can't really ask you more before we know about your screen resolution.

Now that we know it, could you please tell us if you are using the Classic Windows desktop theme, or the regular XP theme? If you are using the classic theme, coudl you please try the XP theme instead?

Sorry, but I'm not computer savey enough to know how to tell which theme I'm using and therefore, how to change to Windows if I'm currently using XP.

The classic theme is grey-ish with sharp corners all over. The XP theme is either blue, olive green or silver and is more round. To change it, you can simply click right-click on the desktop background and choose "properties". Then under one of the tab, you will be able to change the theme used in XP. But if you already are using the XP theme, then the årpblem must be coming from something else.
