Two weeks ago, I used the trial version of earmaster, which was fun. Yesterday, I purchased earmaster at my college bookstore and installed it. The problem is that everytime I try to open the program or when my online school assignment opens the program, it comes up as a notice stating that my trial period has ended. The name on my home computer is under Dwayne Tacina, or Jane Guiles, so I don't know if that has anything to do with this diffuclty that I am experiencing. My assignment is due tomorrow and I need help quickly!!! Please help me, I cannot afford to throw away my time and money for an F for a grade. Thank you!

Hello Renee,
You need to activate the program with your serial number in order to remove the time limitation. Otherwise it will keep on running in trial mode. The serial number is on the manual (US and German version) or in the DVD case (Rest of the world version).
If you are on Mac, please make sure you did install the program and are not simply running it from the disk image. For more details on how to install EarMaster on a Mac, please refer to the EarMaster FAQ (Support area of our website).

Still need help
I purchased earmaster after my trial period expired. I entered the serial number. Earlier, my computer read no disk even though the disk was in, and now that I'm trying to install it again, I am getting notices that read, "Windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item". Believe me, I have entered the serial number. Thank you.

You don't need to have the CD in to use the program. It should only be used to install EarMaster.
The Windows error message you get means that you don't have the necessary rights on the computer to install the program. You should try to install it from an administrator user account in Windows.
