the situation i described above continues. it would be nice as a singer to be able to use the transpose microphone option(-12) in the microphone set up wizard. im assuming either not alot of people are singing their answers, or this is a mac osx issue? is anyone successfully using the microphone transpose option? thanks.

Hi,

I have been testing the transposition feature, and it is saved on our Mac when we reopen the program. The only thing I can think of that could reset your settings is if you were running the program from the image file (the uninstalled version).

EarMaster can indeed run from the image file (white hard disk icon), but it was not intended to do so. It must be installed in your Application folders and run from there (or from the dock).
