VST notes are sometimes heard in the wrong octave

I'm not sure if the bug is with EarMaster or with the VST plugins, but sometimes the notes heard are one octave away from the solution. I found this problem with other programs using the VST plugins like Finale too (where chords are inverted and such when not supposed to be), so I think the problem is with the VST plugins. Have anyone else experienced this problem?
