A false answer is not recognized.
Example:
Module 4: 4/4 - 2 measures: Whole, half, quarter & eight notes (lesson 5 of 8):
The quarter note on beat 2 in measure 2 is not recognized as a false answer:
The message You have 4 of 5 notes assumes only the start positions of the notes are compared.
My answer on the second beat must be treated as wrong. There was only one half note in the question, not 2 quarter notes.

The marks under the notes only show the evaluation of the timing. The evaluation of the durations is not displayed in details but is reported in your score (for example you got 40% of success on that question).
