How long does it take to receive the serial number for an internet order?

It depends on what type of license you have ordered. If you have ordered 1) a full license 2) as a download version 3) paying with a credit card (not PayPal) you will receive you serial number with the credit card payment confirmation e-mail. You shall receive that e-mail a few minutes after you have complete your transaction. In any other cases you will receive the serial number in the e-mail sent from us. We usually send it on the first business day after your purchase.

So I have a confirmed purchase and an email with the serial number, but I have no idea what I need to do to download and install the software. I couldn't find any instructions on the website.

Hi,
you need to install the demo version (download it from our download page on the website), and activate it by entering your serial number (PIN) when asked (usually right after starting the program). EarMaster will then be unlocked
