How to get MIDI work

dear sir,
If I keep MIDI/USB connected and start the computer, I could not hear anything if I play Video/ audio programs (ie no sound from speaker). So I have to disconnect MIDI/USB every time before restarting the computer and then connect the MIDI/USB to make everything to work correctly. How to keep MIDI/USB connected always in my computer?

Thanks for this ear training program. It works great and I am learning a lot from this product.

Did you check your setting in the windows? Sometimes the problem come from there
