Isn't it more like:

"Drink up" = Unison
"Baby" = Major 2nd

Like it is written in this score: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJheL-N3H7Q

I could be wrong though :)

hi niclas :)
glad to see that you check
but im afraid not, that score melody is terribly inaccurate. both the elliott smith songbook and my ears agree its a minor third
drink up = minor 3rd down
ba-by = major 2nd up
most of the other high rated sheet music from online also say minor third.
if youd like ill jpeg you a copy of the sheet music, also if youd like to give it a listen

drink (bflat) up(g)

Nice and tricky one!

Here it goes another track of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5g-91mwiNs (=10s)

Try to listen without the score, what do you think?! I'm sure there are people who can listen a 3rd minor descending and others who can listen a 2nd major descending in "Drink up" ;)
