Not function at all

Post by zwl »

My laptop is a MacBook Pro 15'' 2017, the os is 10.14, what I have on it right now is an EarMaster 7 downloaded via Earmaster Cloud, and every time I open it there would be many windows popping out like:

tSF2MIDIOut.Open: AUGraphOpen failed, result = 2005 (C:\Sourcecode\EarMasterD10.2\Units\uMIDI.pas, line 1452.

Also, I can't open the Preferences, and there is no sound at all.

Hi,

It means that EarMaster is not allowed to use an Audio Unit component called Apple MusicDLSDevice on your Mac for some reason. The easy solution to this problem is to:
1. go to your Mac's preferences and open the Security and Privacy options
2. Under the Privacy tab, click on Full Access at the bottom of the list
3. Click on the + icon tot he right and add EarMaster.

The restart your Mac. This should fix the problem for EarMaster, but notice that this message means that there is a problem your macOS account or the sandboxing caches in your Mac on some level.
