Problems with interval comparison

Im having serious trouble getting past lesson 17 in 'interval comparison'. I close my eyes and try so hard to listen to which interval is greater but each time score less than 50%. I also try singing them with no success. Any help?

Learn to sing the intervals that give you trouble. If you can hear a note, and sing an interval (say a perfect fifth up) from that note, then that means that you can think the sound of the interval inside your head, and if you can think the sound of the interval inside your head, then whenever you hear that interval you will recognise it.
